Die BISCHOFF ProntoSIL 300-10-C4 ist eine analytische HPLC-Säule mit einer klassischen C4-Phasenmodifizierung, die speziell für die hochaufgelöste Trennung großer Biomoleküle wie Proteine und Peptide entwickelt wurde. Die stationäre Phase basiert auf sphärischer, poröser Silica mit einer Porengröße von 300 Å und einer Partikelgröße von 10 µm, was eine exzellente Trennleistung und gute Druckstabilität ermöglicht. Die Säule misst 25 mm Länge bei einem Innendurchmesser von 3,0 mm, gefertigt aus rostfreiem Edelstahl als ready-to-use Hardware. Durch die spezielle Bindungstechnologie ist die Säule pH-stabil im Bereich von 1 bis 8, maximal bis 60 °C einsetzbar, und eignet sich sowohl für RP- als auch HIC-Modi der chromatographischen Trennung. Die moderate Kohlenstoffladung von 2,5 % und das Fehlen des Endcappings gewährleisten eine ausgewogene Retention und hohe Selektivität.
